“Excès d’amour” is a project comprised of 4 tracks that blend house, spiritual jazz, and Moroccan Gnawa influences. It is produced in Paris by Fayçal Latafi, an artist and DJ hailing from Casablanca, paying tribute to Chantal Jaquet, a philosophy professor specializing in Spinoza.

The excess of love for certain things can lead to our downfall, but it is the excess of love for music that gave birth to this EP…

The opus immerses us in a tender, radiant, and sensual story, yet also raw and original. Indeed, Fayçal Latafi has been recording his music for 6 years using digital and analog instruments such as the MPC2500 and the Korg M1 synthesizer… His work exudes authenticity and a unique poetry.
